One of the primary reasons our Founder, Father McGinveny, established the Knights of Columbus was to provide financial aid to the families of members who had passed away. This was long before the social programs that are prevalent today. At that time a family whose main bread winner had died were often left destitute. 

From a small start, the Knights of Columbus insurance program has evolved into dynamic organization that offers a variety of products to meet the needs of our members. The life insurance program has never failed to fully pay out on a death claim. 

While insurance is NOT mandatory we do ask our members to allow our local field agent to explain the benefits of the products offered through the Knights of Columbus.
